C1G previous site was becoming dated looking and was ready for a facelift. They felt their previous site lacked conversion opportunities on the homepage and failed to showcase their niche products, being the largest supplier of Star Treck, Star Wards, and LoTR cards in the world.

With the use of banners showcasing niche and rare game brands and product displays on the home page, CategoryOneGames was able to increase their conversion rate with first time visitors, all while staying loyal to their playful Star Wars inspired brand identity.

Matching their Wordpress Blog to their CrystalCommerce store

C1G's content site was often the entry point of many of their customers to learn about them. Creating a matching blog and providing the most seamless jump between the two sites helped keep people on their site.
